List of Main Race meeting Officials and their basic responsibilities (for a full definition read the 2006 ACU Handbook):

Clerk of the Course – Chief Executive of the Meeting, Qualified Official licenced by the ACU.

Deputy Clerk of the Course – assists Clerk of the Course with his duties, Qualified Official licenced by the ACU.

Secretary of the Meeting – responsible for the administration of the Meeting.

Chief Timekeeper – Qualified official, licenced by the ACU.

Chief Marshal – responsible for organising marshals.

Chief Medical Officer – responsible for medical staff and facilities.

Incident Officer – responsible for collating reports pertaining to serious incidents at the meeting.

Sound Inspector – responsible for checking noise levels of bikes, Qualified Official licenced by the ACU.

Technical Inspector – responsible for the enforcement of all Technical rules and specifications as laid down in the Sporting Code of the ACU, Standing regulations and Supplementary regulations issued for the competition, Qualified Official licenced by the ACU.

Environment Officer – responsible to ensure ACU Environmental code is respected.
